I love cooking with my kids, and we try to have fun with it.
So I made a "magic wand" for each of us that we use in the kitchen. I bought them each a black apron and ovenmits
with skulls. Then we go into the kitchen and start cooking.
Here is one of the recipe we love.
I thought now that helloween is coming up maybe you would like to try it as well.
crying eye muffins.
you will need :
1 big dragonegg (an egg)
60 grams of toothdecay sugar (white sugar)
60 grams of soft fat from a yellow buttercat (soft butter)
60 grams og lizzardbrainflour (flour)
1 ½ tablespoon werewolf milk (milk)
1/4 teaspoon vanillaflower essence from the dark forbidden forest (vanilla essence or vanilla sugar)
1 pinch of mourningsalt (salt)
½ teaspoon toadbakingpowder (bakingpowder)
mix the soft fat from the yellow buttercat and the toothdecay sugar til it becomes white.
add the vanillaflower essence, dragon egg, mourningsalt, toadbaking powder.
Add the lizzardbrain flour as you mix it well. Now add the werewolf milk.
Now take out your magic wand and say the secret spell:
these eyes full of fear,
will cry a magic tear.
now put the dough in magic muffin forms and bake them in the oven on 200 celsius
and bake them in 15 minutes til they are goldenbrown.
let them cool down.
now make a magic icing from fairy-icing sugar and dragonegg whites.
put some icing on all the muffins.
Now take smarties in different colours and put one to each muffin.
take a toothpick and dip it in red batblood foodcolour (red foodcolour)
and draw burst bloodvessels in the white icing.
and finally you need melted magic chocolate mud from the secret chocolateswamps, (melted chocolate)
draw a pupil on each smartie And your crying eyes are ready.
