Hazelnut Tree (Extraordinary ) -- charming, sense of humor, verydemanding but can also be very understanding, knows how to make alasting impression, active fighter for social causes and politics,popular, quite moody, sexually oriented, honest, a perfectionist, has aprecise sense of judgment and expects complete fairness.

Hornbeam Tree (Good Taste) -- of cool beauty, cares for its looks andcondition, good taste, is not egoistic, makes life as comfortable aspossible, leads a reasonable and disciplined life, looks for kindnessand acknowledgment in an emotional partner, dreams of unusual lovers, isseldom happy with its feelings, mistrusts most people, is never sure ofits decisions, very conscientious.

Poplar Tree (Uncertainty) -- looks very decorative, talented, not veryself-confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill andpleasant surroundings, very choosy, often lonely, great animosity, greatartistic nature, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy,reliable in any situation, takes partnership seriously.

Rowan Tree (Sensitivity) -- full of charm, cheerful, gifted withoutegoism, likes to draw attention, loves life, motion, and evencomplications, is both dependent and independent, good taste, artistic,passionate, emotional, good company, does not forgive.

Stone and Crystal Guidance


Red Stones...


The colour red stimulates, activates & energizes... It's associated with the base Chakra...

Garnet...
In it's red varieties it is one of the fastest energizers... It will increase energy wherever it is placed & can also activate other stones that are placed nearby...

Jasper...
The dark or drick red massive form & also quartz is connomly found on beaches... It's a useful stone to place near the bace Chakra... It's good for grounding & gently activating the functions of the body...

Ruby...
This is a red variety of the very hard mineral, corundum... It works with the energies of the heart centre & the circulation within the subtle anatomies... It's energizing but balancing in it's effects...



Pink Stones...


Pink, a blend of both red & white, has a subtle way of pushing things towards a resolution... It's related to both the base Chakra & the heart Chakra, & helps to bring emotions & sensitivity into our actions...

Rose Quarts...
Most probably the best known & favouite of the pink stones... It has a calming & reassuring & can also be a powerfull releaser of unexpressed emotions...

Rhodonite...
When polished it's colouring is a salmon pink often flecked with black... This works with the practical side of out feelings & is the best stone to be used for grounding...

Kunzite...
This is a pink & violet stone... Having a striated structure cyrstal structure it is an exellent shifter of emotional debris & also helps self expression...

Rhodocrosite...
This is a delicate banded stone of pink, yellow & orange... It helps to improve self-image & self-worth... It's also exellent at balancing the functions of the second & third Chakras...



Orange Stones...


Orange is an equal mix of red & yellow, This combines engergizing & focusing qualities... It's associated with the second Chakra, which deals with the flow within the body... Creativity & artistic skills are an expression of this flow, while shock, trauma & black indicate the lack of flow...

Carnelian...
The most popular orange stone, characterized by a sense of warmth & gentil energizing effects... It's common on beaches & will nearly always be a useful in healing...

Orange Calcite...
It's ideal for the delicate encouragement of potential & because of it's softness & watery feel it's good at helping getting fid of problems...

Dark Citrine...
This stone is orange & browny orange & is a balanced stimulator that will bring out creative scills... It can also be used as a gentle grounding & support stone..

Topaz...
Having elongated crystal form & parallel striations running through it's length makes this an exellent clearing stone that can be used to direct energy around the body...

Copper...
Can be found as nuggets & in crystallized forms, works well when used for a lack of flow that's causing clumsiness... It has a beneficial effect on many physical & subtle systems...



Yellow Stones...


Yellow relates to the solar plexus Chakra that regulates the functioning of the nervous system, digestive & immune systems & the ability to discriminate & identify things... Stress, fear, happiness & contentment are all linked to this colour...

Amber...
Varies in colour from a lemon yellow to a rich orange brown, including a deep red & green... It has a good effect on the nervous system & the self-healing process...

Rutilated Quartz...
This is a clear or smokey crystal containing fine threads of golden or orange rutile crystals... It's excellent for moving healing energy around from place to place & works well with broken or damaged tissue...

Tiger's Eye...
A variety of quartz whith a velvety sheen that makes it look like a sweet... The packed fibres & bands of browns, golds, & reds speed up energy flow...

Citrine Quartz...
This is a popular yellow stone... When it's a bright clear yellow it will help to keep the mind clear & focused...

Iron Pyrites...
Know as fools gold it helps to cleanse & strengthen... It's also used to help calm the digestive system...



Green Stones...


Green if found in the middle of the spectrum & is associated with the heart Chakra... Emotions & relationships are balanced here & the qualities needed for personal growth & personal space are encouraged...

Green Aventurine...
This stone is a great heart balancer... It's greatly expansive, allowing for an easy expression of feelings...

Malachite...
Will dig out deep feeling, hurts & resentments... Will also break unwanted ties & patterns of behaviour...

Bloodstone...
This is a green quartz with flecks of red jasper giving it an attractive balance of energy & calm... It stimulates emotional growth & is of benifit to the heart & circulation...

Amazonite...
Calms & balances the emotions & helps throat & lung problems....

Moss Agate...
Ideal for supporting the lungs & easing breathing difficulties as well as feelings of been emotionally stifled... It also brings in the energy of the natural world...

Peridot...
This is a vivid light green stone associated with volcanic activity... It's one of the best known kleansers & will help to motivate growth & necassary change...

Emerald...
The green variety of the mineral beryl... Helps to find persinal direction in an activity & brings clarity & calm to the heart & emotions...



Light Blue Stones...


Belonging to the throat Chakra & associated with communication... Communication using sight, voice, colour, taste & smell is involved at this centre, as are inner forns of communication: the way you talk to yourself, your thoughts & the ability to express yourself all cone unver the vibration of light blue...

Aquamarine...
A blue variety of beryl, stimulates the healing properties of te body... It improves confidence and the ability to stand your ground... It also helps to release the flow of communication...

Turquoise...
This has been used for centuries as a supportive & protective stone... It strengthens the fine communication sysyem of the body...

Blue Lace Agate...
It's a beautiful banded variety of quartz that gently cools & calms... It can be used for lightening thoughts & works well with rose quartz...

Celestite...
Is a soft stone that forms delicate blue crystals... It's ideal for lifting heavy moods & helps with difficulties in expressing spiritual thoughts & needs... It's also helpful with throat problems...



Indigo Stones...


The brow Chakra, the third eye is linked to the midnight blue of indigo... Perception, understanding & intuition are qualities of this Chakra along with a sence of peace & connection...

Lapis Lazuli...
This is a rock that is made up of different minerals, a large proportion is deep blue lazurite as well as flecks of iron pyrites... It has a powerfull effect, stimulating the rapid release of stress thus allowing the person to experiance a greater sence of peace...

Sodalite...
Can look very similar to lapis lazuli, though it's usually a lezz vivid blue & has cloudy veils of white running through it... It calms the mind & allows new information to be recieved...

Kyanite...
Forms translucent thin blades of crystal that often look like fans...A wonderful mover of energy that is blocked or inflamed, it's calming & clearing & is a rapid restorer of equilibrium to all areas...

Azurite...
Most commonly seen as small round nodules but can also form shiny crystals... It will free up difficult & long-standing blocks in communication & will reveal those structures that are stopping us from using or full potential... It stimulates memory & recall..

Sapphire...
Can be expensive when it posses the correct depth of colour, otherwise you can find good size crystals at a resonable cost... It relaxes & improves the mind as well as balancing all aspects of the self by releasing tension & promoting peace of mind...



Violet Stones...


Violet & purple are colours linked to the crown Chakra located above the top of the head... Inspiration, imagination, empathy & the sense of service to others are the energies of this centre... Violet & purple stones help to re-balance extremems within the systems of the body, so they can be of use when you don't exactly know the nature of the problem...

Amethyst...
This is perhaps the most useful all-purpose healing crystal... It's universally applicable in it's uses & benefits... Amethyst is a good stone to use with meditation as it quietens the mind & allows finer perceptions to become clear...

Fluorite..
Comes in a wide variety of colours though violet is one of the most common... It can be used to great effect with the upper Chakras where it enables subtle energies to intergrate better with normal consciousness, increasing the practical use of ideas & inspirations... Fluorite also helps with co-ordination, both physical & mental...

Sugilite...
This stone has various shades of purple... It can be useful in group situations where it helps to resolve personal difficulties & brings greater group coherence... This stone is also good for those who are uncomfortable with their circumstances or who feel as though they don't fit in...

Iolite...
Is also called the water sapphire, but is no relation... It has a subtle violet translucence that increases the imagination & all aspects of intuitive creativity...



White stones...


White or clear stones are often used at the crown Chakra where they reflect the qualities of universality & clarity of that centre... White light contains within it all other colours, so it symbolizes the potential to reflect all energies... White stones also reflect the energies around them... White is related to the concepts of clarity, cleansing & purification...

Clear Quartz...
Strengthens & brings coherent energy, as does milky quartz, which has a gentler effect... All the subtle systems of the body are enhanced & clarified... A state of harmony is brought about...

Herkimer Diamond...
Is a clear, bright variety of quartz that is excellent for detox work & for cleansing imbalances from the body... It also amplifies the qualities of the stones placed near it... Clarity of mind & vivid recall of dream states are commonly induced...

Moonstone...
Is white, milky, cremy or pearly in colour...It has a characteristic soft luminescence from which it get's it's name... It's an excellent stone for clearing tensions gently from the emotions & from the abdomen, where it can help the digestive system... The moonstone will work well wherever there is an imbalance of fluid within the body...

Selenite...
Also names for it's soft moonlight quality, is a type of gypsum... Do not place this stone in damp or wet - the thin slices of crystal will slide apart & disintegrate... Selenite is a good stone for removing emotional termoil or confusion... It clarifies awareness & helps to reach new states of consciousness...



Black Stones...


While white stones reflect & clarify light, black stones absorb light... White will reflect the visible, black will show you the hidden potential of any situation... It holds all energies quietly within itself & thus requires patience to explore fully... Black stones are usually grounding, acting as energy anchors to help you return to a normal functioning state...

Smoky Quartz...
This is a gentle grounding stone... It's protective & is able to dissolve negative states... It will reach to deep levels of the self to cleanse & balance, & can also be useful as a meditation stone... Smoky quartz has all the qualities of clear quarts expressed in a steadier, gentler manner...

Obsidian...
Volcanic gass... It can be pure balck or have flecks of white (snowflake obsidian), Patches of red ( mahogany obsidian) or a smoky translucence (apache tears)... Obsidian is great at bringing imbalances to the surface so that the other stones can clear them away... It can also be used to find hidden factors around a situation so that the right action can be taken...

Tourmaline...
Comes in all different coloure but the balck is called schorl... It's a good protective stone, grounds energies with great speed & will help to realign physical problems to do with the sceleton & muscles... As a long thin crystal with parallel striations, schorl is a very good energy shifter...

Hematite...
An iron oore that can be rust red but is more often a silvery gray with a metallic sheen... It will help the assimilation of iron within the body & has a supportive, grounding & centring effect... It's quietening & calming to the mind...
